To be declared Ironman or Ironwoman you do not need to win all of the events.
The process is as follows: The person who comes in first in an event receives 1 point, the person who comes in second receives 2 points, etc. THE PERSON HAVING THE FEWEST NUMBER OF POINTS AFTER COMPETING IN ALL EVENTS WILL BE DECLARED IRONMAN AND/OR IRONWOMAN FOR 2008. Your picture will go up in the cafeteria and stay forever if you are proclaimed Ironman or Ironwoman.
